About
Chatbots in Second life started with simple responses to keywords, then there was the next generation that integrated with chatbots on the internet. Now we have actual avatars as chatbots. Meet Social Autopoiesis. You can think of him as an NPC (Non-Player Character). He is hooked up to second life through libsecondlife and is using a program to respond to others with a few AIML files. This automation allows him to respond to people and keep in line with the current topic. However, you quickly realize he's just a bot after a few moments of chatting with him. He starts typing instantly. He's also dressed up as a robot similar to the ones in the movie, iRobot. From Dedric Mauriac via blogHUD
